Allergies (-.-)

Everyone says that Cincinnati Ohio is the place where EVERYONE has allergies. It doesn't matter if you had them before, never had them in your life, take lost of pills, hid inside your house with an air purifier...IT DOESN'T MATTER. Needless to say, this spring will be a trying one. But hey, I'm well equipped with what I need and it's not going to slow me down!

Look what we made in District Meeting! It was lots of fun. (Mine is the one with the skinny tie)

There not much to report besides that. We found an old school engine attached to the train this week. AND an oil tanker. But Sis A has the pictures. I'll try sending them later or next week.

Hope everyone 's having a great day/week/month/year! Enjoy Easter and send me lots of pictures of egg hunts and bunny ears. But not of kids getting sick on candy. That wouldn't be fun to see.

Love you ALL!!

Well, I never expected that one

This week has been crazy but so much fun! Gah, I just love it! We got a third companion for the weekend. Sis W had to go home because of family matter but should be coming back tonight. So, the coveted Tripanionship has been accomplished. We even came up with names for all of us! Sister Abrams is Ave, I'm Marty, and Sister Jones (our temporary companion) is Jon. I'd say we're having too much fun but then...is there such a thing?

There's not much to say beyond the work. But included are pictures of the fun weekend and our crazyness. Have fun!

This week I read my scriptures in a tree. It was a lot of fun until I slid out of it...don't worry I'm still walking, just a little scraped up.

I got some fun pictures of the trains again! :)

I really hope you're all having a fantastic week and can't wait to hear from everyone! Love you all!

Glad that's over

We had a very trying week. We were told that we can't teach our investigator Diya anymore because he's Muslim and his family could turn hostile to him and us if they found out we're teaching him and he's coming to a Christian Church. So that was sad. It's been high and low and high again all week. but the good news is we get to go to the temple tomorrow. A break from the world and a chance for a spiritual feast. Who could ask for more?

When we walked out from our weekly service at the Food Pantry we found train cars. They were pretty cool so we had to take pictures. Cause that's what two artsy girls do you know?

Not included are all the pictures of my struggling to get into the train car...it was an adventure and a lot harder than I thought. I have a new found respect for those who would hop train cars in the great depression. They were a lot stronger than me.

I got some LOVE from home. An out of the blue package! It probably made my day.

And this might make yours. :D

I think really hard when I wear my clown glasses. And who needs a thinking cap when they have a blue crown?

In other news it's bright and sunny out! We've been walking a lot and it's been fun. Because poeople are outside. But it also means that I've got the first sunburn of the season. Don't worry it's not too bad. It doesn't even hurt really....

Anyways, everything is fine and dandy our here in Mason Ohio. We're having lots of fun and working even harder! Hope you all have a great week! Can't wait to hear from all of you.

It was fun while it lasted....not

MY KILLING STREAK IS OVER!! That's right I have the potential to stick with my companion for more than one transfer. THANKS HEAVENS! Sending companions home was difficult. And it only got worse the more I did it. All I can say is the Lord knows. I would have gone home with my companion if I was killing her off...But now I get to stay. :D And Sister Abrams is FANTASTIC!! We served in the same ward (not as companions) in Montgomery and am super excited to be her companion.

Max for a walk
Lessons
Rocking horse

Max is Sister Potter's dog. I've loved him since I met him. And it's okay for me to love a dog on my mission. Lots more acceptable than loving boys. Anyways, we took him for a walk and got pictures. He's pretty much adorable. And is really good at tackling.

This week we got to 31 lessons! and didn't even try! We don't have big lofty goals like we did last transfer as far as lessons, etc. but it's still fun to keep track.

We went to visit the Darlings and they had a rocking horse. I couldn't resist.

I hope you're all having a great week! They say it's warming up and I've stopped wearing
my coat :D Super grateful for the warm weather coming up and hope you all enjoy it too!

SAFE!!

First Item of business, I'm staying in Westchester. Everyone thinks I'm training....we'll get that call later. Honestly, I don't want to. Granted, I have been prepared for it if I have to. (Sending home three missionaries is NOT an easy task)

I'm just SUPER excited that I get to keep working with all these amazing people and continue to see miracles in an area where most struggle. (It's not the are, it's the attitude) There's so much going on and so much hope as well. Great things are happening out here and I'm excited to continue to see it through.

*sigh* This transfer has been hard. Probably one of the hardest on my mission thus far. But hey, we receive trials so we can learn and grow right? For how hard this transfer was I sure hope I got a lot of growth!

Things keep on rolling out herein the world of Missionary work! Some routine, same people, same things to study from...I've found I'm a big fan of the structure of Missionary work and part of the reason why it's been so hard for me is because we've been neglecting to follow the form. Oh well, things to remember and change next transfer right?

I hope everything is going great for y'all back home. I love to get your letters and hear your stories!
